We use an OAuth protocol to import your Stripe Connect data with Payable. The importing process takes five steps. It's important to note here that we cannot import international accounts or transfers.
You will see a banner in your Stripe account (#1) letting you know that it's tax time, and that you can now authorize Payable to import your Stripe transactions and accounts. Click on the link included in this banner. Then click on Connect with Payable (#2).
Stripe will ask you to grant read access of your transaction data to Payable.
Once the integration is enacted, Payable will create an account for you. Depending on the amount of data you have, the importing process may take several minutes or more.
Payable will import your recipient information and will import the associated payment data for the tax year.
After completing the import, set up your Tax Forms settings (#2) from the Taxes page (#1).
Payable auto-generates forms for all tax form recipients who meet the 1099-K or 1099-MISC threshold.
If you migrated from Recipient Transfers, Payable has your covered. Transactions from both ends will be unified into one single tax form for that recipient.
