In 2017, Payable was acquired by Stripe and ended support for some of our products. Since then, we’ve been working with our users to ensure a smooth transition.

On August 15, 2020, we’ll end access to the following products and features for all users:

• Payments 
• Work and expenses tracking
• Invoices
• Custom document collection 
• API access

There’s no impact to tax features at this time; you’ll still be able to access all of your past and current tax season data until further notice.

What does this update mean for my company?

Beginning August 15, 2020, you’ll no longer be able to access payments, work tracking, invoicing, or custom document collection via the API or Payable dashboard. If you are actively using any of these features, we recommend that you:

1. Reach out to your contractors to let them know about the upcoming changes. Contractors can access their payments, work, or invoices history until August 15th, 2020.
2. Download your data. There’s an option to “export to CSV” for each project, in the bottom right hand corner of the page. 

After clicking “export to CSV,” you’ll be able to specify the data you want to export along with the time range.

What does this update mean for my contractors?

Contractors can access their payments, work, or invoices history until August 15th, 2020. Please consider reaching out to your contractors to let them know about the upcoming change. After August 15th, 2020, they’ll no longer be able to access this information via Payable.

Contractors can continue to login to Payable to access their tax forms.
